What’s the biggest challenge the IT department is facing right now, and how would this role help solve those issues?
This is an excellent question because:
- The hiring managers often search for people who see “the big picture.” Asking this kind of question positions you as someone who cares about the bigger picture. It indicates you as a person who wants to understand the real pain points in the organization, beyond just the technical tool stack.
